Remote Networking Tips #27: Host a Q&A or “Ask me Anything” Session on Instagram

If you are looking to run a Q&A session, both Instagram and Twitter can be great ways to do this. You can start an online discussion by asking a question, or hosting Q&A or an Ask Me Anything.

Instagram Q&A

When you post the questions sticker to your Instagram story, people can tap the sticker in your story and type a question to ask you. You can then answer the questions you receive in your Instagram story during a live Q&A with your followers.

To answer questions from your Instagram story in a live Q&A:

1. Post the questions sticker to your Instagram story.
2. Once you’ve received some responses, start your Instagram Live.
3. Tap Question Mark Button at the bottom of your screen to see the questions you’ve received from the questions sticker in your story.
4. Select a question to answer it and show it to your viewers. (people won’t see who asked the question.)
5. To switch between questions, tap the question to see all of the questions you received and select another question.
6. Once you have ended your Q&A you can also download the video to save your live Q&A to your camera roll, or share it to IGTV.
