C is for Countdown
Use stickers on Instagram to make your content engaging, fun and interactive. One of my personal favourites is the Countdown Sticker.
The Countdown sticker is available in your Instagram Story deck, near GIFs and Polls. Once you add the sticker to a Story, you can then customise it with a title and set your end date and time.
The great thing about the Countdown sticker is that your followers can tap on your countdown to either set a reminder and receive an alert when your countdown ends (so it is worth bearing this in mind when you set the countdown. They can also share it with their followers.
Here some ideas of what you might like to use the Countdown Sticker for:
- Celebrating Anniversaries and Milestones.
- Promoting events and ticket sales.
- Announcing new product launches
- Promoting upcoming sales and specials
- Reminding followers about key holidays or events that align with your key messages or product/services.
- Building anticipation for a contest or special offers

Eeeps, I’m obviously a real newb when it comes to Insta. Where do I find Story deck?

Hye AJ, when you are in IG stories (when you click the + on your circular profile image) and have chosen a picture/image there are options at the top – one of these looks like a sticker click on this and it opens up menu (one of these is the coundown).
