Send a Thank You Card

We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas Break and got to spend time with your family and friends.

In the post-Christmas period / early January – carve out some time to sit down and write some thank you cards to your network (as well as your friends and family).

Say thank you for the gifts that you received. Say thank you for any parties that you attended (or were invited to).

I favour a handwritten thank you note, but a thank you note can be an email or a handwritten card or letter – just make it personal and show your gratitude.

This can also be an opportunity to thank people simply for making an impact in your life and showing some gratitude to kick off the new year (as part of your end of year reflections).

For example, you might want to write a thank you note to someone who has made a positive impact in your life,  someone you work with professionally or even someone you work with through a volunteer role or organisation.

Need some inspiration? We have updated our template library to include some examples of Christmas Thank You Letters.
