A to Z Challenge: M is for… Medium

The Visibility Planner is all about raising your profile and visibility through the things you do focusing on 4 main areas: PR and Marketing (inc Social Media), Networking, Presenting and Writing. For the 2020 A to Z Challenge we decided to focus on one of these aspects – writing! As the world continues to go into lock-down due to Covid-19, it is the perfect time to work on raising your visibility through your writing as you can do it from the comfort of your home.

M is for… Medium

Medium is a place to read articles on the Internet. Medium is a blogging platform, like WordPress or Blogger. It is an alternative for publishing and sharing content. The overall design of Medium is minimalistic, featuring lots of white space and limited formatting options. This means that the focus is the content!

As a writer on Medium, you can share your content. Publishing on Medium is free and the articles you publish may be distributed to your followers, as well as readers who follow relevant topics. Therefore it can be a way to boost your visibility and reach a new audience (as well as your existing audience by linking your social media accounts).
