Quick Tip: Make yourself Available

As well as offering your network opportunities another great way to help your network is to make yourself available to them. I am a believer in the ethos that if you attend an event to network and meet new people you are also saying to them that you are making yourself available to them.

You are available for them to talk to you and approach you at the event. It should also mean that you make yourself open to them contacting you after the event. Otherwise, you might have to ask yourself why you attended if it wasn’t to make yourself available.

By opening yourself up and making yourself available, you can build relationships that you were not expecting, you can find fresh leads and opportunities that you can take advantage of and most importantly you can help other people.
