A to Z Challenge: B is for… Blogging

The Visibility Planner is all about raising your profile and visibility through the things you do focusing on 4 main areas: PR and Marketing (inc Social Media), Networking, Presenting and Writing. For the 2020 A to Z Challenge we decided to focus on one of these aspects – writing! As the world continues to go into lock-down due to Covid-19, it is the perfect time to work on raising your visibility through your writing as you can do it from the comfort of your home.

B is for… Blogging

Writing and in particular, blogging should form part of your digital marketing strategy. A large part of this A to Z of using your Writing to Boost your Visibility will focus on blogging.

Your blog should be a key part of your website. A blog can help you increase your visibility (and improve your SEO) and gives you somewhere to showcase your writing and of course to drive traffic to.

Your personal or corporate website is a great place to share your thoughts and opinions related to your industry, and a blog is a perfect medium to do this with. It gives you a space to become a thought leader, engage with more people, and easily update your network. Plus, it also gives you an opportunity to develop your writing skills).
