Visibility Planner - emails

What should you include in your email signature?

If you work for a large company this often gets decided by your marketing team. If you would for a smaller company there is often a corporate image that you are expected to include in your email signature. This might be the font, the colours, images and links.

Everything should be “On-Brand” and Consistent.

Most email signatures include the following:

  • Basic Information – your name, your business name/company and your position.
  • Contact Information – phone number and business address.
  • Website
  • Social Media Icons and Links

From a practical perspective you should also be checking out what your competitors and clients are doing to ensure that your remain up to date and on message. When you review other people’s email signature think about what you like about them and what you dislike about them and what you might want to include in yours.

If you have the flexibility to design your own you should really make it pop.
