Quick Tip: Celebrate Volunteers’ Week

This week is Volunteers’ Week. Volunteers’ Week is an opportunity to celebrate and say thank you for the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK.

You can celebrate Volunteers’ Week by thanking colleagues and contacts that you have been volunteering with, or who have volunteered their time to help you.

Take a moment to remember each of them and thank them. This might be a shout out on social media. It might be dropping them a quick email to thank them for volunteering their time. It might be inviting them to get involved in your next volunteering activity.

If you haven’t personally got involved with volunteering activities recently, you might also like to have a think about what you can help with. Have a look at volunteering opportunities you might like to get involved with locally, within your company or in your wider network. After all volunteering is a great wayfor you build relationships, develop your skills and confidence and boost your wellbeing.
