Planners for 2020

You may have already seen on social media that we are back with another Kickstarter. However, just in case you haven’t heard about it we thought we would do an additional blog post to update you on our latest limited edition set of pocket notebooks.

Goals Planner and Prompt Journals which are designed to help you plan and achieve your goals for 2020.

As part of your Networking Strategy, it is very important to set your goals. While the goals notebook it not specific for Networking Goals, it can be a useful tool for all your goals (including your networking goals). If you are a regular reader of this blog you will know that we encourage our readers to take some time to set goals for their professional networking. Setting networking goals can give you a focus to your networking and make sure that you are not draining your time, money and energy for no good reason.

Goals Planner 2020

The Goals Planner 2020 is designed to help you develop a step-by-step plan about how you will get there. Your plan and your goals will be driven by both your business / organisation needs and your own personal professional needs.

This notebook is designed to be a ‘light touch planning notebook’ that you use as part of your goal planning strategy to give you more time to work on your actual goals and to stop dreaming and start doing.

The layout includes:

  • your mission statement
  • your long-term plan
  • your goals for 2020
  • your action plan
  • notes for each goal
  • your progress tracker
  • your review pages
  • your end of year review and
  • some space for notes

Unlike traditional goals planners, it is not driven by a calendar or weekly planners. You have a set of goals for the year and an action plan. You are in your own self-imposed timetable (but you don’t have to be). This is great for networking goals as they can be unpredictable and do not necessarily follow a pattern of consistent progress.

Prompt Journal 2020

If you are a professional you may also be interested in our updated Prompt52 Journal which has been updated for 2020. As well as some networking orientated prompts, the prompt journal includes weekly prompts for 2020 to help you write about your career throughout the year.

These prompts will be available on the prompt journal blog in 2020, but as part of the Kickstarter we are offering the opportunity to grab these prompts in pocket notebook form so that you can easily journal on-the-go right from the start of the year without waiting for the prompts to be released each week on the blog (promptjournal.com).

A sample of the prompts include:

  • People to have lunch with;
  • Notes from a conversation with…
  • How can you make more of an impact?

Hometown Tourist

Originally inspired by the April 2018 A to Z Challenge this pocket notebook contains 52 lists to plan and record your trips and activities in your hometown to make sure you make the most of living there.  This notebook can also be a great companion notebook to your networking strategy as you plan out activities in your local area (which can also be used as part of your networking strategy).

Example Lists include:

  • Lunch Venues to Try
  • Conferences to Attend; and
  • seasonal to-do lists.

Stretch Goals

We are now entering the final week of our campaign. We still have time to reach our stretch goal, so please share this campaign with your friends and on social media. If we hit our stretch goal you will be able to add on one of our Pocket Notebooks (PDF version for PDF backers) at no extra cost. These extra notebooks include our networking pocket notebooks.

You can read more about all these notebooks and support the campaign on our Kickstarter Page.
