Don’t be afraid of reaching out and asking your network for help. If you are generous with your time and help people out on a regular basis then they will naturally want to help you out if they can. When the time comes that you need to ask for help – don’t be afraid – just ask!

Yes there is a chance that you will be rejected. Yes the people that you are reaching out to may be unable (or unwilling ) to help out – but if you don’t ask, you will never know as you will never open the door to that opportunity.

You cannot just sit there waiting. If you do, it will never happen.

(That is not to say that you can’t wait for the right opportunity – that is different).
