Today’s quick tip is a classic: write to a professional contact to suggest a coffee.

While it might seem sterotypical or overused the coffee can be a great way to follow up or check in with a contact. It can be great for internal networking as well as meeting someone for the first time after your originally met them at a networking event. It can also be great for meeting up with an old boss or colleague.

Quick and easy – pick someone and shoot them an email and ask if they want to grab lunch or a coffee next week.
