If you are out networking, you are clearly also selling something. Yes you are out meeting people but think about why you want to meet people and what your goal is. I am going to assume that you are wanting to network because you want to do business with other people and at some stage you will want them to buy a product or service from you. Am I right?
If so, your elevator pitch shouldn’t just be about you and your role all the time. There are times when you will want to be talking about your product or service and therefore you may also want to think about crafting an elevator pitch for you product or service – a short, professional sales pitch.
Your pitch should be professional and not too short-term or general – make is short, snappy and more importantanly specific.
